RioZonas Açai started operations in December 2015 in the city of Studio City, California, with one goal in mind: to offer the best açai experience in the United States, inspired by the authentic Brazilian way of serving this Amazonian superfruit.

We are passionate about açai and our customers too. Our product is differentiated, tasty and a genuine alternative on the market. Which enabled us to open our second store in 2018 in North Hollywood, which became the BIGGEST açai store in the entire country.

Surviving the Pandemic ...

Surviving the 2020 pandemic, RioZonas Açai is ready to break new ground by working with farmers in the Amazon to produce sustainable quantities of açai and increasingly expanding our product options to better serve the diverse customer profiles we serve while also increasing our direct presence to consumers, reselling our acai to other small businesses and distributing our products to other US states through wholesale partners.

Why do we exist?

RioZonas Acai came from the desire of its founder to balance his professional life with his passion for nature. He grew up in the midst of nature and since he was a child he learned to observe the exotic animals, to admire the plants and this frequent contact with nature made RioZonas founder Acai Evaldo F., when taking a vacation trip to the Amazon to visit friends and family, realize that Brazilian açai was very different from the one served in the United States.

Thus, he identified a great opportunity to offer a unique taste in the United States and also, together with his concern for customers and the environment, to provide a healthy and authentically Brazilian food.We exist to provide a personalized service, where customer satisfaction is our priority. Thus being able to become part of their routine, providing a delicious and healthy touch to their lifestyles with the authentic way of serving açai, making us a reference in originality, flavor and quality food.

We use top quality açai harvested from the Amazon area of Northern Brazil and processed into a delicious paste. The sorbet-like açaí is then topped with fresh cut fruits, grains, select nuts and a wide variety of over 30 choices of toppings. At RioZonas Acai we take pride in serving the American market a product with the authenticity and flavor that is served in Brazil as well as to offer our customers an equally authentic tropical experience the moment they set foot in our stores.

In addition to açai bowls, we also serve açai smoothies, fresh and healthy juice blends, Brazilian cheese bread, empanadas, a selection of healthy snacks and premium waters.
